Developing Community

What We Do?

In 2018, Blackstone bought “the biggest, ugliest building” in Cottage Grove’s historic district. The $1.6M renovation is helping transform the downtown core. The mixed-use, 1904 historic Bank Building grew from 3 to 23 commercial tenants. Additional community development projects are underway.

For the last 6 years, we’ve been on retainer with the Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute (ONAMI), an entity funded by the State of Oregon. We research, evaluate, advise, and help guide the commercial development of science-based discoveries, inventions and startups from Oregon State University, Oregon Health and Sciences University, Portland State University, and the University of Oregon.

Some of Our Projects

Community Support

I ask that you consider all the qualities of a first-class project when choosing a developer, and give points for the community history and values that Len (Blackstone) would bring to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
