Developing Community

Together

Here’s what we do:

Develop Real Estate

Main Street is our community’s living room, true of all small towns. Given that fact, we first developed the Bank Building downtown, but our community needs more. More places for businesses to operate, more spaces for people to work—and also to live and love, to grow their families and share moments with friends. We’re in the business of developing “inspirational real estate.” By that, we mean creating spaces that are welcoming, unique, authentic, attractive, and that facilitate happy living and invite joy. If that appeals to you, join us.

Here’s what we do:

Develop Companies

We are passionate about our own businesses, and we want to see others develop equally rewarding and effective ventures. We have decades of experience in nurturing and growing startups and multi-billion- dollar companies. We are experts at business strategy, marketing consulting, selling products and services, and creating effective marketing tactics. We help entrepreneurs and businesses grow their companies. Our community already has some great businesses, but could use more that provide well-paying jobs. We’re ready to help.

Here’s what we do:

Develop New Products & Services

For over 40 years, Blackstone has consulted with companies ranging from multi-billion-dollar corporations to small startups. For the last 6 years, we’ve been on retainer with the Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute (ONAMI), an entity funded by the State of Oregon. We research, evaluate, advise, and help guide the commercial development of science-based discoveries, inventions and startups from Oregon State University, Oregon Health and Sciences University, Portland State University, and the University of Oregon.

Some of Our Projects

Community Support

I ask that you consider all the qualities of a first-class project when choosing a developer, and give points for the community history and values that Len (Blackstone) would bring to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

The diverse range of options at the Bank Building means it’s unlimited what kinds of businesses the building can attract downtown.
